The 2026 edition of the report “The Professional Electronics, Microelectronics and Photonics Sector in Poland”, prepared by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) in cooperation with the Łukasiewicz Research Network- Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics scientific team, shows in a nutshell one of the most promising and strategically important sectors of the modern economy: electronics, microelectronics and photonics.
These industries form the technological backbone of digital transformation, industrial modernization and the green transition, while playing an increasingly vital role in strengthening economic competitiveness, innovation capacity and technological sovereignty.
It also includes a catalogue of Polish companies offering innovative products, technologies and services and looking for new business opportunities and international partners.
Companies operating in electronics and photonics are not merely responding to global technological trends – they are increasingly helping to shape them. They develop cutting-edge solutions for industry, energy, healthcare, telecommunications, defence, aerospace and many other sectors. Through continuous investment in research and development, they create high-quality jobs, generate intellectual property and strengthen Poland’s position in international technology markets.
